Well yesterday was a tiring day. We had reunion dinner last night and then after the dinner we went to Chinatown to shop for new year goodies and accessories. There was a lot of cheap buys and me, my mother and my aunt bought tons of stuff. We bought bags, flowers ,oranges , clothes and table runners to decorate the house. We were walking for almost three hours and parking spaces were always hard to find. There were huge crowds at all the festive stalls with some new year cookies going for as low as 2 dollars now wasn't that a steal. There were necklaces and bags going for as low 1 dollar. the place was very packed and very noisy. with every turn of the street, you could smell all the different aromas . It was very exotic and chaotic. We saw an austrain selling salami and saying out new year greetings in chinese now wasn't that a feat. in fact i believe that he could speak mandarin better than some of our local chinese. But there were too many noises and smells that it became a bit claustaphobic when there were so many people squeezing through the crowd. By the time we squeezed through the crowd to reach the car, it was alredy one in the morning and by the time we reached home it was already 2 am in the morning.
so naturally i couldn't wake up until 10 in the morning and i have huge eyebags to show for my wild partying the night before. so that is my life as of now. see you guys soon.
